July 25th

Bunker edging/sand placement continues today hole No. 5
It's the last Ladies' Day of the month with a 8 am shotgun this morning.  Tee times begin at 1 pm for regular member play.

Last night temperatures dipped down to 12 degrees to give the turf a breather. Today will be mainly sunny with increasing cloudiness this afternoon with a high of 26. UV index 8 or very high. Tonight: Cloudy. Showers beginning this evening. Risk of a thunderstorm. Low 17.

The driving range will be closed from 9:30 to 12:30 for maintenance this morning to fill divots and mow the playing areas.

A reminder that greens will be topdressed this coming Tuesday July 31st to smooth out depressions from ball marks, foot prints and help dilute thatch.

The bunker edging/sand placement will continue today starting on hole No. 5 following the morning course setup for the day.

No. 5 and No. 7 Weevil damage showing recovery with new bentgrass emerging
Recovery from Annual Bluegrass Weevil damage on No. 5 and No. 7 fairway edges that was seeded with the Turfco Triwave 60 slitseeder is now evident with bentgrass seedlings starting to emerge just after 7 days!

Have a great round!
