COURSE PLAYABILITY
The course has dried up a lot after yesterday's windy conditions and drainage time. Expect to get a little more roll out there then the last couple of days.
Ground Under Repair - Treat all new sodded areas IN ROUGH as 'ground under repair'. No. 18 fairway has been overseeded to recover ice damage. Treat any bare areas on No. 18 as 'ground under repair'.
Greens - Green speeds are approximately 9-9.5 feet being cut today but not rolled.
Rough - With the drier stretch of weather the mowers have been able to cut steady over the last few days and have caught up on the rough. The bluegrass rough still continues to grow very quickly with this cooler weather necessitating constant mowing.
Bunkers - The bunkers were raked again this morning and are drying out for better performance closer to normal course standards.
Driving Range - The driving range is closed until further notice. The PTO pump without the rain is finally starting to gain lowering the levels by a couple inches in the last couple of days. Hopefully we don't receive any more excessive rain to allow us a chance to open the range asap.
Course Etiquette - Please remember to repair ball marks and replace divots. If carrying your golf bag and using the sand tubes, please use on FAIRWAYS ONLY. Maintenance staff repairs all tee divots and uses a different seed then what is used on fairways.
