The Men's day yesterday was pretty well attended with 85+ gentlemen out enjoying a perfect day for golf. The rain held off till after the round once everyone was back at the clubhouse as the group came back to enjoy a great roast beef dinner. The Senior Men's championship results are in and are listed at the bottom of this post.
Other than greens, tees and rough mowing this morning, the rest of the work today is project based.
- Oars wetting agent will be sprayed on greens to alleviate isolated dry spots.
- We have a couple of irrigation leaks to attend to on No. 13 and 14. In the meantime we are watering the 14th tee with a roller base sprinkler and hose until the system is pressurized.
- Sodding drainage on No. 11 fairway before the road.
- No. 5 green sod at the front will be replaced.
- Tees and ditches will be hand mowed.
For the upcoming weekend we are preparing the course detailing to include brush cutting greens, marking ground under repair, painting hazard and O.B. marker lines, trimming granite yardage markers, painting putting green cups, checking ball washers.
