Ladies' Day On!

Add caption
The Ladies' day is on as scheduled!  It may not be raining but it sure is cold this morning with temps still at 11 degrees at the start of the 8am shotgun.  The Ada McKenzie, James Y. Murdoch, and Lois Young trophies are being played today after being postponed after last week's rainout.

During the Ladies' Day event the crew will focus maintenance on some of the peripheral grounds areas.  Tennis area the driving range and the staff house will get their weekly mow.  The driving range will be closed from 9:30 to 1pm to enable staff to carry out the necessary work on divots and mowing.

The greens were brush-cut and rolled today and the bunkers were raked.  The big rough unit is out there and continues to try and keep up on the rough, making it's way around the course being courteous to the Ladies.

This afternoon the fairways will be brushed to stand-up the grass and dry cut to provide a tighter playing surface for this weekend's Club Championship.

The saplings left of No. 15 green will be mowed down today to help speed up play in this area.  The irrigation leak on No. 13 will be repaired today.

Have a great round!
