Bring your umbrella this morning as rain is in the forecast. At the moment, the radar shows a large system of light rain moving down from the northwest. The majority of the system is more to the south of us so accumulation should be minimal as we prepare the course for the final day of the Men's Invitational.
The greens crew came in last night after the final matches to mow greens, fairways, collars and approaches. This morning the greens will be mowed again and rolled for the final day of competitions. The course conditions are firm and fast at the moment and hopefully the weather cooperates today, and the rainfall is minimal.
Good luck to all competitors in the final round of matches! We hope you have enjoyed the conditions the greens crew delivered after a hectic and challenging season.
GREENS AND TEES AERIFICATION NOTICE
Just a reminder that this coming Tuesday September 10th the front 9 will be closed and the greens and tees will be aerated. The following day (September 11th), the back 9 will receive the same treatment.
September is a busy month for tournaments at the Club. The use of smaller golfer friendly 3/8" tines during this upcoming aeration, will recover more quickly then the larger 1/2" or 5/8" tines used during other times of year.
