The stage is set for another great event for this year's 35th Annual Two Day Men's Invitational starting with today's practice round. Welcome all competitors, the course is in great shape and ready to test this weekend's field of players.
The head lamps were on this morning as the crew prepared the course starting in the dark to mow all the main playing surfaces for the competitors. Yesterday the fairways were brushed to stand up grass that was laying over before this morning's cut. The greens were double-cut and rolled this morning to achieve the desired tournament speeds closer to 11 feet.
Today there is supposed to be increasing cloud with a chance of thundershowers this afternoon with a high of 28. Today's conditions will be ideal with the onset of the dryer, firmer surfaces. Be prepared to make an adjustment for tomorrow's first round play as the rain is expected to move in and soften and slow things up for tomorrow's round.
Enjoy the next few days of golf!
