It's day two of our scheduled greens and approach aeration. The front 9 aeration was completed yesterday and reopens today as we tackle the back 9.
Day 1 on the front went fairly smooth, but the 8mm of rain received on Sunday didn't help with the process. The extra moisture prevented cores from being pulled out of the holes.
A hopper of sand was topdressed into the aeration holes yesterday. Today, another hopper we be applied over the front 9 greens again to top up the holes. You therefore may be putting over sand if you venture out on the course today.
Again, thanks for your patience during this important practice. You will reap the benefits from this event come July and August during the summer season!
