May 25th

The course will seem a little empty today as the MLGCC Joint Health & Safety Committee hosts the annual Club-wide orientation and training today down at the clubhouse.

The golf course continues to dry up.  Golf carts are permitted today.  Please keep carts away from low wet areas and use cart paths where provided.

Environment Canada is calling for it to be cloudy and clearing late this morning. High 20. UV index 8 or very high.

Today's green speed is 8.5.

This afternoon, (weather permitting) the greens will be sprayed with Banner Maxx fungicide to control Summer patch.  The fairways will also be sprayed with Primo Maxx and Enfoss fertilizer to reduce clipping yield and provide pre-stress conditioning of the turf.

The online registration is up and running for those signing up for junior programs.  Many members made use of this service yesterday.

Have a great round.
